I have never heard of a law that states you should stop one full car length behind the car in front of you when in the turn lane. I wasn’t even taught that while learning to drive.

I always hate it when people describe fathers as having to “babysit” the kids while the mom does something. Like, they’re your children it’s not babysitting!

The crowd at the one I went to (Cleveland) was also mostly white which seemed odd to me seeing as Cleveland itself is 60% AA & Hispanic and Cuyahoga county is 35%% AA & Hispanic.

Where is the evidence that studios are putting out fewer movies on a regular basis? In fact, movie industry revenue has never been higher. Tickets sales have also increased over the past 2 years.

US and worldwide movie revenue has reached an all time high the past 2 years. And even the US gov’t says that movie studios who conduct studies on this are conflating their numbers about how much it’s actually hurting.

The girl needed therapy, but I’m not sure it was body dysmorphia. It almost certainly didn’t help her friends she just straight up shaming her that lead to her considering herself the “designated fat friend”

For some reason, I watched this last night simply because it was on. The girl wasn’t dumped by anyone but had some REALLY shitty friends if what was shown in the episode was close to reality. She and possibly her friends called herself the DUFF (designated ugly fat friend) or something like that.

There was also a followup story where local news stations apparently didn’t realize that the Echo isn’t voice specific. They said a similar command on the TV broadcast and people who were watching that also had an Echo had cookies ordered for them.

I saw a story on the news this weekend where a small child did exactly this and ordered a $200 doll house through Alexa

I don’t know what kind of “oppo” the republicans would have thrown at Sanders in the general, but at least look at where he was popular in the primaries. He was stronger in the areas where Clinton lost to Trump in the general.

My parents and both live in close suburbs of a city (though different ones) and own a 4x4. Living in the city doesn’t mean you can’t have hobbies or equipment that you use in more rural areas. If you own a track car it doesn’t mean you live on a track.
