That
@BlackSmokeDMax: "The only way ... iis if you have a terrible file management thing going on"
@Asian Angel: "A place for everything"
@Star me or I'll peck your eye out: Are you coming from XP? I ask because on Vista I see file organization as User-Documents, or User- Music etc, as opposed to keeping everything under a My Documents folder. Libraries is just a more useful parent folder than the user folder, though I use both.
I like the toast notifications provided in Windows. Why can't everyone just use that? uTorrent does, and does it well
Now is when I've lost it, EST. It was fine earlier
@OCEntertainment: Yes, I am quite fond of Windows toasts. uTorrent uses them flawlessly, and I don't know why more 3rd party developers don't follow suit.
@TalKeaton: Glad I'm not the only one.. Apple stuff was hailed as a paragon of UI design, and I can't do anything on it but click things on the dock. The Finder and the ubiquitous menu bar are nightmares for me.
I love living in the future.
@Lazzzara: This amuses me, because it is true
Traded for price?
@greenbot: What turns you off about it? What do you prefer?
VOTE: Padmapper or other craigslist - google maps mashup
No Mac apps on a best video player list? I thought Macs were soooo much better for video?
@jonny6pak: :)
And the blogs agree, these themes are mostly ugly.
@jupiterthunder: I didn't comment in the nominations because I knew somebody would have already mentioned PDF-XC. I definitely voted for it in the poll though, because I know it's way better than Foxit
Depends on which version of Office they're running.. I haven't tested Office 2010 on XP but it's blazing on Windows 7
What I want is for everyone to have their own cloud. The server is a NAS-like device sitting up in your bedroom, that you can access from anywhere as long as you are connected to the 'Net. It would host both the web apps and the photos or documents or whatever data you're manipulating.
