I think given the bordered look, the comments are too narrow. I have all this empty space to the right and it looks weird.

@Zepth: Wordpad is like an Office application, and thus got a ribbon. Notepad remains a bare-minimum app.

I'm tired of this BS. A browser is not an OS. A browser is an app on an OS. An app that is web-run and pulls data from 'the cloud' can be stand-alone — it does NOT have to be accessible only from the browser.

Why's everybody on here all ga-ga over pen and paper? I thought this site was people who love to see how new software can hack their life. I promise pen and paper does not offer the flexibilty and persistence that a good app can

So why is this comparison all about the iPhone? Windows Mobile is already offering all that was discussed here about Android.

I don't want to replace Pictures or Music, I like those. I want to add other important stuff. If i could change 'Games' (useless) to something else like u can easily do with Music and Pictures, that would be awesome.

Besides the speed, Chrome does have different features from it's competitors, that some users may like. Why are (some of) you guys acting like it has to be the second coming before you can pay attention to it? It's another browser with just as much usability, so why not report on it?

Using only the Bluetooth software already on the computer, you can add the device as shown in this tutorial but I could never get it "connected" to work properly with WiinRemote, etc because the remote doesn't use a passkey. BlueSoleil works perfectly, but cut out after about 4 minutes of me moving my mouse cursor

"sucks a lot less"? It's a good browser. Some of the features (visual search results, tab grouping) are stuff Firefox does not have at all.

Surprised no one mentioned: Go to pocketcm.com. Get the contacts application and the photo viewer. Among the best freeware out now for any platform

YouPlayer: Firefox extension to watch youtube videos in the sidebar without having to avert my eyes from the LifeHacker home page

OK I'll bite — how about we start making cars much much lighter? Do we need to drive around in tons of bulky metal? Imagine the gas savings.

I once had an idea for building a site where people could come and tell me all their brilliant ideas which I would then 'steal' and get rich! Bwah-hah!

Very basic concepts on this video mean well, but the interface was horrible.

Vote: Stickies on Windows

Just want to know, how do I get the Mainmenu toolbar (File, Edit, etc) to show up on the title bar in FF3 like it does in that screenshot? I'd get Orca for that alone

vote: QTTabBar for still being Windows Explorer but adding so much functionality

I don't like this. I use Gmail primarily, though I've used Outlook personally and for work.

Couldn't get Facebook and some other stuff to work, so I didn't fall in love with it. Though they have a lengthy privacy policy, it still feels weird to give all your personal security info to ONE company
