yeah but they barely made any money from ads so that doesn’t matter much. That is why Paetron exists so you can give money to the content creators you feel are worth it.

because it’s a pirate movie. With the exception of Pirates of the Caribean, pirate movies are like westerns in that they pretty much all flop. You have a few exceptions but yeah for the most part the world doesn’t want to see them... even though I love both of them.

its a fun movie and pirate movies are rare. But yeah the whole movie was a huge mess and would have never been made if everyone wasn’t contractually obligated.

that and it originally started out as a hand drawn animated film and they decided to switch over to CG after it had already started.

a transparent budget can be a bad thing. Then you get couch producers, i’m reminded of during the Banner Saga development they said they were going to do a German language localization and a portion of the backers got really angry that their money was being used to pay for that.

and hats millions of hats. Actually I can only imagine how much money they make from the steam auction house thing, where people sell skins and stuff for Dota2 TF2 and other games. Yeah they only make a penny or two per sale but there are millions of transactions a day and it costs them nothing.

I disagree Friday the 13th is PERFECT for gaming. either as a survival Horror game or as a game where you are the killer. It has a lot of potential if someone is willing to take the risk.

ehhhhh i could kind of see a publisher not wanting as much nudity as some of the films had. If the game allows you to run around naked as a dude then I will be happy
