You make a good point, but it’s hard to know how some fabrics are going to take dye, and then if it doesn’t work out it’s of course unreturnable. Worth a try if the dress is cheap enough. (though I guess the cheaper it is, the less likely it is to have the sort of fabric that takes dye well. AH, LIFE!)

I tried on a shapeless beige dress yesterday, and the fit was FANTASTIC! It was like a magic dress that turned into something beautiful as soon as you put it on. (I did not however buy it, because no matter how many times I pretend it’s gonna be different, beige makes me look like a corpse.)

It’s not “harsh.” The argument here is not that they erred in the degree of their response. They erred in the very nature of their response. There’s no gentle-enough way to do something that should not be done in the first place.

That, unfortunately, is a real degree, not an honorary one. Word is that U. Mass. let him claim a lot of his entertainment work for credits, so it is a little fishy, but it’s still an actual degree. I think the only way to rescind that one would be to establish that he committed academic malfeasance.

Broadly speaking, hepatitis refers to severe liver inflammation from one of any number of causes. Her hepatitis likely doesn’t have a letter after it (Hep A, B, etc.) because that’s a way of classifying viral hepatitis only, and this doesn’t sound like it was caused by a virus.
