A bland space that would have been a great spot for an embroidered Lincoln badge...I mean The Lincoln Motor Company badge...

as much of a vast improvement in styling as this is, it’s body lines and broad cuts like this that continue to make their vehicles look bloated.
And it is safe to say thiat if they did decide to provide a manual option, it would not be the best it possibly could be. Look at the E60 M5. The U.S. had the manual otpion after pleading for it, and we got one, but it was yanked right out of the E39 and not geared to the V10. Look at the new Cayman GT4. Common…
nice wedgie...
I think I figured out why this is such an improvement over Inifiniti’s usually overly odd and overly aggressive “spindle grille” and headlight interface...because it absolutely screams Mazda CX-5, a decidedly great looking vehicle...
All this hard work these days to improve on lighting quality, appearance, and accents, and then they jam this garbage right front-and-center into the valance. I feel like this could have been executed much better.
For all the little things I don’t like about the design, this downward cut from the fender haunch to the nose might outrule them all. Abosluletly beautiful, aggressive, slightly menacing, and prominent line. I can only image how glorious it looks from the driver seat carving out a bend and really pointing the nose.
and it may be one of the worst solutions to sun glare in the industry. In every Fiesta and Focus I have driven with the SYNC setup, the screen has been a chore to both read and use due to being set in so far.
Stop jamming the screen as far back into the dash as you can. Don’t you want us to see whatever the hell you think you did to improve the nth iteration of your OS?
Infiniti, here is a prime example of what you could have done. So do what Lexus does and get your tracing paper out.
further proof that simple a design consistent with a brand’s design language is a winning combination.
A usual downside and unusual optical illusion thanks to poorly fitting positive offset. But I’m sure whoever engineered the suspension dynamics knew exactly what they were doing.
I’m not mad at myself, I’m disappointed. I’m disappointed that this was my first qualm with such a glorious machine.
I’m not the only one who thinks this wheel setup looks too small with too much positive offset right?
Better emissions from a bigger motor? Sign me up.
So when Chrysler, I mean FCA, moves the production of the 200 to Mexico, will they ditch their full-of-shit slogan “Imported from Detroit”?...
Honestly, what is the point about caring where a certain manufacturer builds their vehicles or line of vehicles if it nets then the most profit to keep theeir doors open and continue to employ people in this country anyhow. Hwether or not you find yourself assembling a Civic or a Focus, a job is a job. Even more…
I find it’s lack of structural integrity disturbing
Should’ve gone with the 9” panoramic display similar to BMW as of late. Otherwise this blank space is just far too large, leaving a screen that looks daringly too small.
Call me crazy, but Infiniti may have finally made their front end design language work with this vehicle...but please don’t really call me crazy. I’m fragile.
