Why do people still listen to Hennessey anyway? As mentioned in the piece, he’s not without his share of controversy, most of which seems earned and then some. Dude seems like a pure snake oil salesman to me and it amazes me that people still hand him and his company money.

Oh no I didn’t actually expect him to tone it down or anything. Whether any claim against them is legit, their statements (Both Musk’s own and Telsa “PR”) are turning into a parody at this point.

Haha, very true. Though he should still probably tell his press department to rein it in a bit...well, and tell himself that too.

Is Tesla incapable of saying “We have no comment at this time.”? Is that beyond them? Every time something is said against them, they seem so intent to give back as immature of a response as they can. That statement from them reads like a child who has been caught red-handed trying to weasel their way out of it.

I actually hope the person isn’t found, if only because if this is brought up in a report the driver will get blamed no matter what. Did the “juvenile” do something inherently stupid? Hell yes. Does that matter when pedestrians act like they can cross whenever they like, with or without a crosswalk? Doubt it.

Sweet. Good for them. Enjoy getting shut down in two to four years when Titanfall 3 doesn’t sell to every man, woman and child on the planet like EA will expect it to.

Don’t forget the microtransactions so you can get cards faster instead of grinding! Heaven forbid we have a damn racing game without them now. Thanks Forza 7...and, well, everywhere they show up I guess.

Ha, what a fucking tool. Nice comeback bro! Must be fun to shout one word nonsense responses to legitimate concerns.

I’m no fan of Porsche on most days, but there is no way they should have been held liable for someone doing insane speeds on a public road in the first place. You do something like that, especially in a car known for being temperamental, and you crash? That ignorance is on you.

Would have bought one if it was offered in sizes for fatties like myself (site only offers up to 3XL). Oh well.

Wait...it stands for “Ready To Rock”? I genuinely expected it to stand for “Ready To Race”. What a missed opportunity...

Said it before when you were looking for questions and I’ll say it again:

Looking back now after finishing the article, I would love to say there was a central villain here. Someone to place all the blame on for a studio falling apart. Now though? Now I’m just depressed to see so many things go wrong to a studio that wanted to make it work.

My only question for them is this:

It’s been mentioned already, by both the story itself and some comments made here, but Talk Is Cheap(TM). This dude needs to either get his shit together or stop making bullshit apologies he never follows through on.

I don’t know, this is a tough one to gauge. You look at how this specific dealer is handling things like the tools and you want to fault them outright, but then you hear about someone who’s been making $63K (for over two decades) and complaining about it not going up when most people can barely crack minimum wage.

As someone who backed the game oh so long ago, I can say this is a great thing to see, especially in an age when there aren’t really demos for anything anymore and people are running out of legal ways to even test the game out.

Fired it up today and, after the barrage of notifications subsided, Iplayed for a bit. I’m, well, not impressed since it went right back into the problems I had before.

That black on the front fenders and all the green really turn me off of the car. I appreciate that it was left sleeker than most “LOOK AT ME” modified Lambos, but those color choices are horrendous.

Is it a one of one that costs more to insure than a NASA mission? Then, yeah, take great care of it. Is it anything else? Then, no, it’s fate is yours to decide and you’re not beholden to it for any reason.
