I just see it as sitcoms having far too much influence on culture. Like a few people have already mentioned on here, I’ve never met a couple that actually has that kind of dynamic.

I don’t mean this to come off as some vague “I told you so” type thing, but Hennessey always seemed too good to be true. What I mean is that the whole reason they exist(ed) was, basically, because some dude in Texas looked over at what the largest car manufactures in the world were doing and said ‘Nah, I can do it…
The concept art did give off a different vibe, but I can say as a backer that I gave the original images too much credit and assumed that was what the final game would look like. That’s on me of course. I think the “Bloodstained” kickstarter had the same effect. To be fair to those folks though, that studio appears to…
Some of the segments may have been dry, I’ll grant you that, but it just seems like everyone is in such a hurry to piss all over the relaunch. I know it’s obvious, but the old TG crew is gone. People really need to stop expecting otherwise.
I’m definitely sorry I backed it. There hasn’t been a single positive story posted about the game in some time. It’s just the collection of “Yup, something doesn’t look right about this game.” posts.
I’ve been going back and forth on getting a bike for a while now, but I always worry about not being able to learn to shift properly. The advice I usually get is that “if you can drive a standard, then you can drive a bike.” Problem there is probably obvious by now: I can’t drive stick.
My grandmother owned the twin of this car, the Dodge Monaco. I remember that car as the go to road trip vehicle for our family. It was smooth-riding, had just enough power and was an all-around comfortable car to cruise in. Plus, it had all-digital instruments on the dash, which amazed the Hell out of me at the time.…
Such a shame to hear...and a predictably bad look for GM to boot. As a resident of CT, though, I have to wonder: If they’re not being directly sold here, how do I see so many of them (with Connecticut plates) cruising around? Do nearby states allow direct sales even though CT currently doesn’t?
I think the further we get into future tech, such as spaceships “dogfighting” and the larger robots, the less I care about the series. That feeling is certainly not helped by this CoD being made by Infinity Ward (MW3 was a train wreck, I don’t care what you say).
Like a lot of folks, I respect the science behind the Veyron a lot...BUT, I also think they are one of the ugliest cars I’ve ever seen. It’s a hard thing to describe to people: The car has a sleekness to it and all that, but it always looked, to me, like what it was designed to be: An experiment in engineering and…
I miss the more “prankish” times for things like this. Stuff that you could laugh at and realize they did no damage and were just messing with you. Around here, for example, one of my neighbors folds the mirrors on my challenger up for no apparent reason.
Two things I learned long ago:
I’ll be the first to admit I know nothing about the technology behind any of Tesla’s models, especially since my daily driver is the exact opposite of that kind of car, but these statements against the company’s ability sure do reek of ignorance.
No outside release for the trunk? Oh man, that makes me think of my Kia Soul (of all things) that had no place on the hatch to insert the damn key. True, the key fob would have unlocked it along with the doors...if the key fob/power locks ever worked right that is.
I am going to ask a stupid question here so sorry in advance, but is there any truth to the rumor I heard years ago that you basically have to be a card carrying Ferrari member to even buy one of the cars (any of them, not just the 488)?
Saw it said “The Sun” ... Started Laughing
That last quote had me rolling; nice work.
Alright, I know this may be an easy observation to make, but I have no choice:
It’s pretty clear that the officer was just being a dick and, having apparently waited until there was no place to swerve, is a crash-loving one at that.
