@OhNoItsGojira: I dont know about HVD's but Im speaking in generalities from a consumer/devils advocate POV.. I know they are different technologies, and yeah CD DVD LaserDisc and Blu-Ray in the world of basic consumer are all pretty much the same... #steveballmer

@OhNoItsGojira: Youre not getting this. DVD by definition. Not the specific video format, I mean DVD as a technology, VHS as a technology.. A Blu-Ray movie is on a disc... digitally.. Im not talking super technical specifics here, just that its a disc with a digital video, therefore to the mass of consumer in the

@OhNoItsGojira: Dude, call it whatever you want, its a Digital Video/Versatile Disc.. Is it not? Hold off on the name calling and come off your high horse, Blu-Ray is an expansion of DVD technology, NOT an entirely new format. Im not talking about video or audio formats themselves, im taling about the medium by which

@Mox FcCloud: Totally agree, Blur-Ray is a quick fix to compliment our television sets capabilities, and in the long run will fizzle out. And as for the digital distribution.. I like having DVD cases on my book shelves I have probably 400 or so and I love it, I dont want to have 2-3 hard drives in place of the cases

@flashtut: You're right, that's fair.. MS is guilty as are all the others I suppose.. Case closed #granturismo5

@flashtut: Game prices have to be the standard of course.. I'm not implying that the game will cost more, I'm speaking in generalities in regards to Sony and product launches. The PS3 was delayed over a year, and at launch it was the lauded as one of the most expensive consoles ever, though comparisons with older

@flashtut: That connection was mostly sarcasm, because in my mind those are two things that are classic Sony. I know other companies overprice products as well, Sony has just always been highly priced across all product lines. And there is a weak link to the delays and pricing. More time spent in R&D doesn't always

@Flymonkey102: I think they are. They tend to be the most expensive sets on the market the last few times ive shopped them. Granted, I havent shopped them in a while.. #granturismo5

@Archaotic: Clearly you dont run in one of the "obsessed with all thing Halo" crowds.. Some of my friends are on [Bungie.net] every single day and play Halo (1,2,3) every single day, Bungie has a good spirit about their online community and I think its more about giving something to keep people interested and

@flashtut: More than just games.. Sony is overpriced than and vastly similar to the rest of the market, that's just the truth.. #granturismo5

@MaWeiTao: Hey, its Sony, if there weren't tons of delays, how could they justify severely overpricing products that are virtually the same as everyone else's? #granturismo5

Im going to steal my parents Wii I got them for christmas now #wii

Best Buy has a pile of these out in front of the store. Didnt realize they were empty. I should have jumped into the pile #sony

@Jon-Claw: Woah good call.. Uncle Phil always was cooler than they gave him credit for #left4dead2

I want to play as Kimbo-Slice there in the middle

@tiberseptim: Neither, and thanks for proving my point. In an arena meant to be the "proving grounds" to give new dev's a chance, how can you cry about anything going on there because its different than what you are offering. The point is that its a middle ground where anything gets a chance.

What are the indie game developers cying about? Its indie games, theyre never going to break it big. Thats what "real" games are for.
