Make it super weird and bring in Renee Montoya from Gotham.

He actually then had to change his name from Unbreakable to David Dunn.

hahahaha my mind had blocked that. He’d make a rad Doc Ock.

No, and that’s the most troubling part to me. I really enjoyed Batman Begins despite Nolan being ill-equipped to film fight scenes, but it’s overshadowed by Dark Knight. Batman Begins was god damn fun! You may have a different movie in mind, but yeah, it’s not the best. I’d put Burton’s ahead of Dark Knight as well.

lol glad you enjoyed it. I did enjoy Paul Giammati’s performance, but he’s terrific in anything.

yeah, and the movie is undoubtedly beautiful and it’s not without it’s great moments, but it’s kind of sloppy as well.

I think the movie was trying to achieve a retro feel for a long neglected group of niche films but it achieved it’s shitiness by accident.

Agree so much.

Thanks for sharing scenes from the movie that don’t actually explain what I was talking about.

the discourse is so focused

I had these thoughts while I was watching the movie

OR OR he’s been a ghost guy long enough where can can manifest himself physically, get married, and have a kid... oh fuck he had that whole football back story. Never mind.

I am not here to defend the The Happening. But I think I get what M. Night was going for. In the 70s and early 80s our generation was inundated with movie of the week films that were supposed to be scary, but because it was just on ABC or whatever, they were mostly pretty tame. Like I watched the Happening and thought

Dark Knight has a lot of bad editing and revisions. It’s an enjoyable film I guess, but I’m not sure why fans make such a big deal out of it. It should have just been called The Joker since that was obviously the more interesting character to Nolan.

hahahahahaah

I want her to be my best friend.

how do I get on this dystopian game show and do they just kill the losers to put them out of their misery?

The thirst is strong with us.

Or at my “parties”.
