Away We Go is a gem.

I asked a friend about the book and he said it’s even worse than the movie. Also a big eggers fan, so I dunno.

It is indeed terrible. I watched it last weekend because the concept kind of appealed to me in a Black Mirror kind of way, but it. is. terrible.

For a comedy, it isn’t funny. But the performances and commitment from the writers and actors is pretty worthwhile. They are a talented group. Just not a funny group.

I do not get Adam Driver at all.

Yeah I wasn’t big on the final boss fight when I saw it in theaters, but it bothers me less now. They give Wonder Woman some screwy new powers that bothered me more than anything else in the final scene, but she’s the daughter of Zeus now, so *shrug*.

The Wonder Woman scene was very emotionally moving for me. Been waiting my whole life for that.

Alien: Covenant used the song to creepy effect as well. Big year for John Denver!
