Agree, but the critiques always seem to be a bit of a reach—like the article in question. Demanding biting and accurate social commentary from a bubblegum pop star when it doesn't seem to be demanded from other artists singing about similar topics is a bit... odd.

I, too, enjoy writing articles that hit on broad swathes of the population based on some unsavory things that I've seen on the side of the road. Have you seen all the Islamophobic ads on the subways in New York?! Ugh, no wonder that city is full of so many ignorant people and has so many social ills!!!
