This episode, which I enjoyed, made a lot of choices, and one of the more interesting ones was the method of Rhaeny’s entrance, which sure seemed like it would had to have killed or maimed a lot of innocent people, and yet also sure read to me as “triumphant” and “badass,” without the show having much concern at all

Ratakjowski could pull plenty of highly attractive successful men who haven’t been accused of abuse.

Interesting theory!

Absolutely fair point, although I would still say that if the comments you’re making on the record are comments you won’t want on the record when a nonagenarian dies, whether they’re about her or not, reconsider making those comments. That is a contingency that is on its way to coming sooner rather than later!

Basic rule of thumb: If you’re going to talk on the record about someone in their 90's, you should be pretty prepared for the possibility those words will soon apply to a dead person, for better or worse.

He’s a typical right-wing kook: Buldoc has questioned if the FBI should exist

Oof, who could have predicted Donald Trump might be a disloyal ally?

This feels like an invitation to pile onto Rob Schneider, and while it’s tempting, I’m going to say a couple nice things about him instead because I hate internet pile ons:

Oh, I’ve always said that Dan Snyder was a dress rehearsal for President Trump and this organization was a dress rehearsal for the Trump presidency. I honestly think one of the reasons I was so often NOT SHOCKED by the outrageous events of the Trump administration is that I’m a “fan” (lol) of this team and have

The headline, which could have easily been a neutral “Jury Refuses to Sentence Parkland Shooter to Death” or something, but instead highlights the “Shock” and “Outrage” of the victims’ families, which seems to me as a reader a pretty strong signal that there is something to be shocked and outraged about. Then the next

I wasn’t talking about Wilde, weirdo

That article is worth a read. It pretty clearly demonstrates that Snyder is an awful pathetic person, and quite obviously the worst owner in the league, possibly in all of North American sports (non-NWSL division maybe?). It also demonstrates what a high bar that is because the rest of the owners are pathetic

I’m not going to begrudge any grieving family their perfectly understandable desire for vengeance after having their children ripped away from them by this absolute piece of shit. Nevertheless, I’m anti-death penalty. I think it’s barbaric, I think it can’t possibly be applied in a fair manner, and I think it can’t

no moron fuck off

no moron fuck off (also, i like how you think having a lunch break is an insult somehow?)

no moron fuck off

Why?  What would be the purpose of that?  They’ve already said what the general nature of his comments was, they’ve already said they don’t condone it, and openly disparaged him for making them.  I’m also not sure how showing it will convince people who think it’s a mental illness or unstable artist thing, because

Huh?  You don’t think people are bringing kilos of coke on their carry on?

It’s not just offensive and ableist they are being actively dishonest.
