Mmm, yes. Exquisite fire alarm...
So the 1 was a 2 door in America, which became the 2, because the 2 door 2 needed to make room for the 4 door 1, now with twice the doors as the first 1. Then the 5 needed to subtract 2 doors to become 6, which then multiplied the doors by 2 to make the 6 the same as 5 with 4 doors. Then the 2 door 3 became the 2 door…
The 4-Series is the 2 door version of the 3-series, but the 4 door version of the 4-series is still the 4-series...
woo woo! I think my fav. Porsche though is the 993 RS Clubsport. by then it will meet the 25 year requirement for imported cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ford,
The Scirocco should be rebadged as a Porsche simultaneously pissing off Porsche purist worried about the brand being watered down with suvs and such and vw people because..... well they're just a little touchy this time of the month.
My biggest grievance is with the lack of power in the twins. I can say this because I own one.
Ram 1500 Diesel, for being the 1st 1/2 ton diesel pickup. Rest assured, the other 2/3 of the big 3 will be watching sales of this one verrrrry closely.
I would have to say the i3. No, it's not the prettiest or best car etc. What it does showcase is the manufacturing and technology that used to be reserve for super cars are now trickling down to the masses.
McLaren P1. (which I checked is indeed this year's car since the delivery's already begun) It is the poster child for the next generation hypercars. Not only that, the Nurburgring lap time, and whether or not it should be so revered, caused quite a stir around automotive blogs such as our own Jalopnik.
I know this might strike you as a tedious answer but i really think this would be the Porsche 918. It defies the boundaries of a supercar and a hybrid, for that matter. Honorable mentions go to it's noteworthy rivals from England and Italy as well.
Tesla Model S. What car has gathered more all around media attention than the Tesla? It's changing the way people buy cars, and changing what we expect from automotive technology.
Disagree with number 8. Drums are fine for the majority of cars out there.
Fixed it for ya.
It actually costs a good bit of money to add in auto up/down windows because of the necessary anti-pinch sensors and other necessary hardware. A senior engineer at a big 3 automaker I talked to around 2007 quoted the incremental cost at around $100-200/window. It is not just a matter of adding a special button.
Empty Switch Place holders. They just remind you that you aren't good enough.
Good...good. They suspect nothing. Muhahaha!
