I think Edd is awesome, and his bits are often my favorite part of Wheeler Dealers. I can see his stuff not being the most exciting part of the show to a casual viewer, though.

Last time I checked, you couldn’t get any of those new at the local dealership.

In fairness, I just lumped beard dude in there since he’s on the show. I can’t stand Richard.

It’s all about the people. The best shows have the best people.

Ahh, I misread the question.

Picture being a kid going to his first track day in his DD $3000 Miata. Maybe he has to borrow a helmet because you can’t afford one. He just wants to have a little fun, and maybe learn something.

Also related, but when talking about used instead of new:

I saw that guy do standup once.

‘You like cars, what car should I get?”

AFR gauge hooked up to a factory 3-wire sensor. Not going to give you anything but a useless light show.

There’s room in the market for Miatas to Hellcats and everything in between.

A little bit more power, it’s an FR-S. A little more it’s a 370z, a little more it’s a C7. These cars already all exist. Hyperbole? Maybe, but only in small degrees.
