If it makes 5,000 people happy per year, and that’s enough to justify Mazda gifting the car to us, I’m ok with that.

If you want more power out of the Miata, the Miata is not for you. Choose another car.

Nope, they think the Miata is perfect as they made it, and if you want a more powerful car there are plenty to choose from.

Then the Miata is definitely not for you either.

Shoot, you’re right, let me walk right on down to the Honda dealership to buy a new one right now.

Kind of the whole premise of the car is balance - yin/yang. The whole package works together as one. More power, it would need a little more tire, a little more brake, a little beefier transmission and diff, a little stronger chassis, a little stiffer suspension.

Link to said German pile plz.

Well, show me the same model year with the same mileage for the same price and I’ll agree with you that the S2000 is a better value.

Reading comprehension is not my strength today apparently.

I knew the whole Catherine Wheel thing (So is “Black Metallic” about a woman or a car?) but did not know about his brother. Cool stuff.

Mostly I’m just jealous that you’ve been there and talked to Mr. Dickinson.

I’d argue the normally aspirated GT3 is the “pure sports” 911, and the turbo is the grand touring variant.

June 29, 1967 Jayne Mansfield, an A list actress, her driver, her lawyer, and her three children rear ended a semi. The car went underneath the trailer, killing the three adults very gruesomely. The three kids escaped with minor injury.

Also the forced induction power delivery doesn’t match well with the “pure sportscar” philosophy of the rest of the car.

Well, it was also 150% the price of the FR-S. $35k in 2009, which is bumping up against $40k in 2015 dollars.

Gentleman’s bet it’s a two year run max?

I just checked and you can still buy a new LFA. ~$400k. Only 500 made worldwide.

I have a sneaking suspicion you are going to see very, very few of these. Grab one and drive it on Sundays only and I’d bet you can get paid to own it by the time you sell.

I did not even know a new Cruze was shown. Looks suspiciously like a Focus sedan from this angle, which honestly is not a bad thing.

When interviewed on the headlight styling, this bird was quoted as “I love it!”
