Porsche 911. Flawed basic concept (engine way in the wrong spot) continually improved and tweaked into maintaining status as one of the best sports cars on the market for 50 years.

Honda got stuck somewhere in between an Accord Wagon and an SUV and ended up with something nobody wanted.
