I'm far from an expert on 959s, but I think those Dunlops are quite literally the only tire made anymore that will fit the special wheels.

Actually, I hear the one to avoid is the 964 C4, as it's the closest to the 959 in level of complexity. You can't even bleed the brakes without a special computer or something.
Miatas have trunks, no?
Usually magazine guesses are terrible, but that's a beautiful render.
I'm sure there is some loophole that if it gets rebuilt with sufficiently new parts it counts as new. Perhaps they'll keep them on hand as warranty engines.
Well, to get to rod bolts on a flat six you need to split the case. Porsche has probably decided it's cheaper to send dealerships full motors to have their techs plug right in rather than have them fully disassemble and reassemble motors. They'll then refurbish the ones they get returned at the factory.
I looked into it a little more, and I read that the hole in the block lets oil fall onto hot exhaust manifolds. Not sure if that's true reporting, but the fire isn't the main issue here if you are blowing holes in blocks to get there.
Maybe I'm dense, but how in the hell does a rod bolt issue cause a car to catch fire? Rod bolts shoot through block and magically sever fuel lines?
Way to blow my point right out of the water.
THANK YOU, came here to post TwinTire.
Race Wars better not be coming up or they'll be pulling a premium.
Having ridden in a GT-R, I'm assuming the GT-R trans doesn't meet the smoothness / refinement expectations for an Infiniti for around town work.
Woah, woah, this is a family friendly website.
This is purely speculation, but I think the one to have will end up being the C6 Z06. Last of the normally aspirated big V8s. Don't think we'll see one again.
