Just for comparison, the 911 Turbo S starts at $181,100 if you don't check a single option box. This is the best way I could come up with to justify the price of the Nismo as a bargain.

Above 6500rpm the engine catches fire? What is this graphic?

The Targa is stupid. It's just a half convertible with a giant tonneau cover.

If you were a kid in the 80s this was the coolest Jeep. It's kind of not a Jeep.

Obvious boring answer: Defender 90.

Thing is, I like the CR-Z. Thought it was a near miss. Keeping the rear seats in the US car and 180 or so hp / 200 lb-ft combined would have probably made it work and worthy of the CRX comparisons.

He also autocrosses the hell out of it.

Except Honda forgot the "sporty," "useful," and "efficient" parts. It barely beats the Fit on two of those, and the Fit blows it out of the water on the useful front, for much cheaper.

VW just showed Honda the correct way to do a sporty mainstream hybrid.

This one.

Excellent.

I have to look for the Hoffmeister kink to tell which is which in profile.

Also:

I totally expected Datsun 510 and BMW 2002 to be taken.

The Fit is an entertaining chassis. Why not just follow the formula of the original CRX, and chop this chassis to a 2 seater (or 2+2 if you want to sell more)? The Fit is HUGE inside, bigger than most CUVs, so there's plenty to cut out. Chop the top and use one of those fancy Earth Dreams motors.

I saw them once live many moons ago and it was perhaps the best / strangest concert I've ever seen. Hatori started singing this beautiful, fragile ballads, then they slowly transitioned into lounge-like songs, then rock, and by the end she was screaming / rapping with a rastafarian about MSG, with Sean Lennon playing

I've seen two on the road, and they are extremely good looking for midsize sedans.

Not the lowest volume ever, but this one is happening now so that's kind of cool.

Wait, also weird. I would never expect you to be able to purchase more car if you bought used than if you bought new.

Weird, I would never guess a $22k compact would handle differently than a $45k roadster.
