I'm trying to figure out how citing statistics that objectively show that men are given better medical treatment than women is making anything a "competition"... Sounds to me like you're the only one competing here, we're just discussing reality.

I don't think people are assuming that all doctors are men. Being a women does not make you immune to implicit biases related to women - these biases can end up effecting treatment even where doctors and nurses do not consciously treat men and women differently. Disparate treatment need not be the result of

Receiving emergency treatment within 3 hours of symptoms can be a critical factor in surviving a stroke. Please get yourself or a loved one to the hospital immediately if you notice something amiss.

So, people had to go out of their way to a breastfeeding page to be offended by a picture of a woman breastfeeding her baby. Hi, Dan.

I'm not sure if it helps or not but that's the Two Bulls Fire in Bend and as of now hasn't burned anything but national and state forest. It's less than ten miles away from Bend but it wasn't actually burning houses when they took their pictures.

I have hand warmers that I use during football season, and that package is completely covered in warnings. It doesn't specifically say to not put them on your tits, but should it have to?
