Sadly to say, there is precedence for this. A bunch of students in the 60s wore anti-veitnam war buttons to school, were told to take them off or leave, took their case to SCOTUS, and SCOTUS said “They can wear them”. Forget the specific case though.

I’m bleeding heart liberal and I feel we should still have the draft. They know better than to enact it unless we were attacked first by another military (such as with Pearl Harbor). Registering only makes things easier down the line in case of such of an attack.

The Focus and Fiesta are DCTs, funny enough (or well, I’m almost positive they are).

Oh hey, a Fiero.

You forgot “Not a brown diesel wagon”

Eh... that’s sort of an apples to oranges comparison? SpaceX and Tesla (and Paypal) are all companies that started in our lifetimes. Ford, GM, and FCA (or well, the companies that make up it) all started before our lifetimes.

Yeah... and now no one gives them a second thought. One would have thought that Adam Petty would have been the catalyst given his family, but nope.

I think part of it has to due with #3's death. I think that was the catalyst for getting them installed everywhere.

Actually, thanks to the wonderful thing known as physics, colliding with a stationary object is not much different, at least in terms of forces involved, than colliding with a moving object.
