A bit of a delay, but the new aerokits are supposed to help with the short track races. Also Pocono they’re saying they may hit 240+ mph down the front stretch.

There’s another series in the US that would love your attention. Hell, there’s two: IMSA and Indy. IMSA just set itself up to be effectively the peak of sportscar racing after WEC’s eventual implosion, and IndyCar provides a mix of great racing venues and great racing. Both are well deserving of your attention.
When Seb couldn’t get past Lewis at the restart, it effectively was over. Lewis is arguably the best driver on the grid right now, understands the feel of the car, and knew that he just had to push the car just hard enough to keep the gap over 1 second. If Seb got in DRS range, it would likely be over at that point.
Pocono yes, Michigan... no. They don’t race there anymore.
If it was one thing, that race was entertaining. Competition cautions aside because of tire concerns, holy hell that was a ride.
It is. The thing about F1 is while it’ll always have the air of eliteness around it, they also understand that they need to open things up to the fans. At least Liberty does, Bernie didn’t. I don’t see them going full on Indy levels of openness, but this is still nice.
Bottas is on a one year contract, and both Ferrari drivers are without rides at the end of the year (Vettel is going to get a ride undoubtedly if he wants one, Kimi probably too if he wants one).
Gonna address this and your horse racing post in one!
While that is indeed true, there’s something to be said about watching a race live. Also avoids that trouble known as spoilers.
NASCAR also went from the king of the US racing mountain... to what it is now. It high on its own success, made rule changes that were dumb, and now is up to its neck in its own shit.
Part of why F1 has trouble here in the US, if you ask me, is the time when the races are on. Only the most diehard of race fans are going to watch a race at 4 in the morning.
All of... 2 points. Impressive.
I really don’t think he’s stopped smiling since then.
Chilton was also stuck at Marrusia, which, in hindsight, isn’t the greatest team to be on ever.
Drinking fountain in Milwaukee and Boston speak. Dunno how that term ended up in Boston but it did!
Chip Seal roads are really common out in Rural Wisconsin, because they’re cheap as all hell to maintain.
Because OH LOOK, THE CLINTONS DID SOMETHING THAT LOOKS SHADY WITH THEIR CHARITY (but really it wasn’t), BUT IT LOOKS BAD!
The problem with F1 refueling is they didn’t make it spec. You had this overly complex setup where it would suck out the air and shove fuel in at the same time. Most every other series uses gravity feeds. If it’s a simple gravity feed like Indy, then there’s no problem lugging it around. Hell, it could be easily…
They are launching a micro-sat with it, so we’ll get a real world test of it.
In before VW gets in hot water for claiming their cars can go 200 miles on a single charge, but it turns out that the only thing that was running when they were testing that was the electric motors and the rest of the bare essentials, so in reality you’re getting 150 miles per charge.
