Aww, I like Raymond. I watched it all as a youth so I'm sure it's nostalgia-bias, and I do admit that pretty much every episode is exactly the same, but I really enjoy their formula and thought the characters were consistently funny.

No, there's a team. I think it's a small one, but Adam Reed isn't the only writer, he's just the lead/dominant one.

I loved season five! Not their best, but it worked great as an experimentation in long-form storytelling and served as a fantastic example of a long-running show ditching its premise and following the humor and the characters.

It was really funny in the context of the episode, and fits Carol's character and humor well.

The funny thing is, this isn't really a surprise at all. Based on the character in the anime and Scarlett's previous performances, she truly seemed like a perfect fit for the role. I am more than happy to object to genuine acts of whitewashing, but I truly don't believe that casting a popular Hollywood action heroine

Considering that hackers and 4-chan users have some crossover as a base, and much of 4-chan half-ironically supports Trump with messages such as that daily, I think it's a mostly serious pro-Trump message (as serious as that kind of person gets, at least).

No mention of Kendrick or Logic? Surprising. I'm beyond hyped for both of them, in addition to Gorillaz, Sylvan Esso, and Future Islands.

Eh. I don't think this is that bad, actually, in the context.

I think this is just a subjective thing. I've always preferred JRPG's to WRPG's because I vastly prefer a linear storyline with cinematic cutscenes to an open world design (although Breath of the Wild is finally endearing me to the open world concept), and FFX is my second favorite video game of all time.

Uncle Ruckus from the Boondocks deserves special mention here for being such a hilarious exaggeration of the Uncle Tom stereotype. He truly kept that show afloat during its worst episodes.

Sexual harassment is one of the ugliest acts a human being can do to another human being. That doesn't negate the fact that Casey contributed to a beautiful work of art, and I don't think it's appropriate to villify somebody for appreciating his performance.

No. It's not. But I still really liked his performance in Manchester

Now this, I completely agree with. There is a clear double standard in a lot of cases that unfortunately leads to the stifling of a lot of black voices.

I really am sorry for offending anybody, but for some reason Affleck is the one person I've never been able to hop on the outrage-train over. This has been gestating in me within these comments for a while now, and I just wanted to say something. I'm not surprised I'm getting backlash, and honestly, I appreciate that

I agree completely. And being disappointed in someone's actions, in my opinion, does not mean you should hope that they starve and live on the streets.

I mean…I'm sorry? The truth is on a site where people support fucking Woody Allen and Roman Polanski, I think it's hypocritical to completely go all-in on hating Casey Affleck based on his minimal and limited accusations. And I was genuinely enthralled with his performance in manchester.

I'll be honest, I think Casey Affleck should be differentiated from Penn and Brown and I was ecstatic when he won the Oscar. I just thought he gave the best performance of the year, and the nature of his actual abuses was all attempted, not that severe, and not confirmed. Even if he did do what he was alleged to do,

But that wouldn't be 24 man. This show doesn't hinge on its gimmick, it hinges on a protagonist whose more ruthless than any of the terrorists he's taking down. Hawkins is doing a great job so far

This is the one show I just cannot watch with a critical eye. It's 24. I fell in love with it when I was in 5th grade, and I will love it now, in whatever state it takes.

I attended Cannes this year, and in a group of 15, only 3 of us liked It's Only the End of the World. I loved it; it was actually my second favorite of the entire festival (Toni Erdmann was my favorite). This is probably the most controversial opinion I hold on a piece of pop culture.
