Yeah, THIS exactly! Must be an American thing to let the water run while doing dishes (and then claiming it must be better for the environment to use a dishwater, yeah, go figure :P). In the Netherlands, almost everyone who doesn’t have a dishwasher does it your way.

From 35 MPH+ (55 km/h+) we drive in 5th gear, so unless you want to do everything in lower gears and kill the planet (and your wallet), almost all tickets you’ll get will be in the 5th gear range, so I call bullshit.
Finally, I am amazed that this is not common knowledge. When I’m cutting peppers and someone starts about the seeds, I always give them the option to eat either the membrane or the seeds, and I’ll eat the remaining option. Usually that shuts then up fast :p
