Never heard of it before this weekend, saw Gillian Anderson and decided to give one episode a try. Binged the whole thing.

Don’t tell that to the real model used in that shot, she might get a complex about her shins.

Only the head is CG.

Considering there are comments on the body being unrealistic, when this is a CG head on a real body, I’d say most people don’t know what they’re looking at.

I’m the one weirdo who really likes the WiiU gamepad. Luckily I also like the Switch Pro Controller, so I could be tempted to pick it up if they ever port it.

In a similar vein, I’ve always found it odd when celebrities are advertised so prominently as the voices in animated movies. I wonder why it’s such a selling point for people (familiarity, I guess?), but unless they have a particularly interesting voice, their name has no special appeal to me.

Having grown up in lower-income areas, I don’t think people are appreciating the sheer amount of junk poor people can manage to amass. The difference being much of it wasn’t purchased new, or purchased at all.

Also you should pick it up as a birthday present to Suda 51 because he just turned 51 this month!

Take note, if you see an article or video by Tim Rogers, expect it to be incredibly long. This one might even be short by his standards...

Bowser Jr. would stand on his own better if they have his eyes some sclera. He’s the only Koopa with black dots for eyes and it looks very wrong. It only worked for Bowser Jr. because Yoshi’s Island and its follow-ups are more visually stylized.

These screens should all be gifs, this one looks much better in motion.

Personally I’d like them to also make Smash Bros Bowser/Giga Bowser non-canon and force Sakurai to make him more in line with his Mario series characterization!

I’ll grant you that maybe the show gets much better after the first episode, but unless it becomes an entirely different show in every conceivable way, it’s really not for me. I’m not saying you can’t enjoy it, or telling anyone they’re wrong for it being their favorite anime ever. I was merely offering my opinion…

I should clarify, I thought te ending was great, but the how they worked in the final villain/battle wasn’t great imo. Enjoyed everything before and after that point though.

Haha, yeah that’s definitely not for everyone, but I thought it was adorable. I wouldn’t call it anything amazing though. 

Amazing how much opinions vary, eh? I would say I’m not a typical anime fan, over the top action and cheesy melodrama rarely appeal to me, so it isn’t too often I find one I really like.

Unfortunately I think I’ll have to pass. I found literally no part of it appealing, and my limited time is better spent elsewhere.
