Same here! I was a little scared at first because I actually thought the storytelling in the early episodes was done better in the first anime, but once they properly diverged, Brotherhood was 100x better.

So much this. The production values of that show are absurd.
If there’s only one devil-anime you watch this year, make it...
The best anime of 2018 was AICO Incarnation. It’s on Netflix, watch it already!
Very different games, other than the fact that they’re both 2D and you can technically execute a downward attack to bounce off enemies in both.

Reese’s cups now come in a variety of form factors with easier packaging. But in reality, no one should be buying them when Theo and Trader Joe’s both offer far superior dark chocolate peanut butter cups.
Whoops, too late! I’ll remember this in case I ever brick my Switch.
I agree to some extent, but I think fighting them should only be the fastest way to unlock. I feel like unskilled players should have other opportunities to unlock characters.
I think this is not a good argument in this case. Unlocking characters isn’t about finishing the game at all. The roster is one of the main selling points, so it’s more like starting the game.
Ugh, that ruling set an awful precedent.
That’s “Godzilla:Planet Eater,” which is the 3rd of the animated series, on the list for Jan 9. Jan 1 shows just “Godzilla,” which could be the 2014 one.
I enjoyed it. People criticized the lack of Godzilla and focus on the human characters, but as a long-time watcher of Godzilla movies, I’d say that’s not an uncommon problem in the series. If you’re patient, you’ll get some good monster action, and an adorable, burly Godzilla design.
Does this mean I can finally directly compare the performances of Mario Van Peebles and Alden Ehrenreich?
Aer looks interesting. I’ll have to check it out. Reminds me of Necropolis, which has a great look, but I heard the gameplay wasn’t so hot, so I never gave it a shot.
I think that was more true in the past, but I’d say it’s less a true balancing mechanic than a randomizing one. The game was designed primarily as a party game, after all.
Art is also my livelihood, what a coincidence! Personally, I found them to be distinct enough, and it’s quite obvious to me that nothing was straight-up stolen, like you might find in some Chinese mobile games.
If it’s an art style you enjoy, you should be happy!
What a horrible, horrible world it would be if you could actually copyright (trademark, in this case) an art style.
There were certainly hits and misses, but I appreciate that they tried a variety of things.
That is sad, but I will use this opportunity to state a criticism I’ve had of Smash Bros. since Melee, which is that Bowser is off-model. Meaning his appearance in the Smash Bros. series is subtly different than his appearance in the Mario series. His snout is a little flatter, head smaller, and hair more wild, giving…
