A higher-spec version of the Tegra chipset that powers the Switch already exists, which is both more powerful and more energy-efficient. All they need to do is use that and they can put out a “pro” version of the system that is capable of better frame rates/resolutions.  Maybe even upgrade the portable screen to 1080p.

But they could do a CAPPY reference!

Always interesting to hear wildly different reactions to BotW based on what individual players value or focus on.

Strong grip, late release, too-close conversation... that is Trump’s standard handshake.

I’m aware.  Just putting things out there that might help fill the void until Nintendo does it themselves... which I’m not holding out a lot of hope for, unfortunately.

For ARPG’s, I’d personally love some sort of truly great successor to Secret of Mana or, for something more complex, Dragon’s Dogma.

Worth it just to pick up the Excalibur weapon.  Soma is unfortunately unworthy to remove it from the stone, but that doesn’t stop him!

Aria > Dawn, but they should be together.  So make it a three-pack!

I bought it in 1997 before I owned a Playstation because I was terrified it would sell out.

I think the Switch can run Castlevania games just fine. As far as AAA console titles, sure, that can be an issue to weigh against a decision, but generally indie games and games designed specifically for the system play and look great. Personally I’ve never valued trophies.

People looked different in the 80's.

Nice to hear it’s a bit more balanced, but the fact that the speed thing is still there is a bit sad. It was just such an obvious flaw in the original, I always thought.

Very punchable faces!

I think he probably gets a shave and a haircut in the game before jumping back into action.

The only Dante I like is the original. Don’t care for the goofball he is in 3, 4, and 5. I don’t like him in DmC either, but I’m not going to choose between cheese and cringe.  I’ve also blocked 2 completely out of my memory.

Lots of pushback from people who’ve been conditioned to view and respond to things only in cartoonish extremes, but I agree.

This is similar to the view I’ve come around to in recent years. Social Justice sounds great, and comes from a place of good intention, but more and more we see it used to group people, separate them, demonize them, and double-down on stereotypes.

I miss the style of Devil May Cry 1, where it was cheesy, but not so ridiculously over-the-top and also Dante didn’t sound like a kid.

Really hoping it has wireless so you can sync a Dualshock to it.

Oh crap, does he have Trump genes?
