What innovation did the neon turbo start?
What innovation did the neon turbo start?
It’s fun poking at fanboys of any variety. I’m just playing.
It looks like all the things I enjoyed about SimTower!
No.
Performance continuing to increase does not negate the car for what it is. There’s a reason the AW11 is high up on lists of cars which communicate and are fun-to-drive. There’s a reason the Miata formula hasn’t changed in decades, and there’s a reason the GT-86 was the rant and rave of every auto journalist with…
I’m not sure how someone championing a shitbox econo car with a turbo can comment on the driving characteristics of an actual sports car.
See, really, I don’t give two shits, I just find it funny when I find someone who’s so much of a fanboy about jellybeans with turbochargers. Yes, they’re quick, but they’re GARBAGE. Putting a fancy engine in a chassis which was conceived to be an econobox doesn’t make it not a shitbox, and ‘90s american econoboxes are…
You’ve apparently never met an MR2 that was taken care of and driven with skill. I’ve known a few that were the bane of local track days, including being kindly asked to stop passing Vipers during their club day, or leave. So there’s one Mopar they can at least out maneuver.
I mostly see Neon turbos with half the interior falling out because it’s a cheap POS car with a relatively interesting engine.
The interior still looked like it was made from packaging plastic. It wasn’t a quality car.
You’re a secret fanboy because you’re calling them SRT-4s instead of Neon turbos.
The MR2 is an extremely reliable and well manufactured car. I’m puzzled as to what you’re laughing at.
I’ll just leave this here:
I’ve yet to meet someone with a DSM who hasn’t blown up some part of their drivetrain. There was a lawsuit AND recall for drivetrain parts on the 3000GT!
I hate that man so much.
A lot of them are crap cans here, too, but the gems are true gems.
Real men stare down those corners.
Damn skippy.
They are VERY dissappointing, so it’s understandable.
Keep it secret. Keep it safe.
