I wonder if they could go after its designers if they can’t prove that the designers ever clicked through the EULA. But if they did I’d be surprised if it went farther than a nastygram; it’d make them look bad. But then again, lawyers rarely have a sense of ethics.

It’s plenty unsafe to make a left when someone going straight is doing so at a velocity that will result in a crash due to your violating right of way.

I just got home from a week and a half at Argonne National Laboratory (physics research) and found a fair number of them on the lab grounds and in the nearby town. Amusingly appropriate, I thought.

I have yet to try a gym battle, but I’ve got to admit I’ve got a Vaporeon too.

Oh yay. Ad hominem. I’m out. Peace.

Got it. So someone breaking the law is legally and morally okay because “hey, lots of people do it” even when it gets someone hurt or killed.

Oh, that’s really helpful.

I just don’t like when someone pointing out the flaw in someone else’s reasoning gets put down as being “knee-jerk”.

It is strange but true that only the LX-i had fuel injection; DX and LX were carbureted. I still have the 1988 brochure somewhere.

You just don’t like what other people have to say.

I was not aware that I posted a trillion times. And I am not your “bro”.

That’s similar to the one we used to have (‘88 LX-i) but ours was a dark maroon. The nose is a little off, too.

What is that? A Civic with a late-80s Accord nose?

A vehicle moving at a rate of speed that will bring it into the intersection at the same time as the truck enters the intersection is a vehicle that constitutes an immediate hazard and has the right of way. Left turns at an intersection with no stoplight always yield to traffic going straight.

Thank you for this! It’s what I was looking for.

Jesus fucking tapdancing christ, you’re going to swear at someone who points out the way things are? The law is as it is for good reason, and I’m looking forward to finding out that this truck driver is going to be facing a judge for violating the law and getting someone killed in the process.

I would think a shorter trailer would be easier. I’ve never driven a tow vehicle, but that’s what my intuition tells me. Unless, of course, you’re trying to back up with both attached - but why would you do that?

I’m confused. If you’re passing a truck on the right, how the heck do you hit it? You wouldn’t be passing if you don’t have a passageway available (why would a cyclist proceed if the cab is blocking them?), and if you are turning right off the road, you will no longer be next to the truck. (Not sure where better to

You can have trucks with two shorter trailers. FedEx and UPS do this.

I suggest you re-read your state driver’s handbook. Particularly the part about something called “right of way”.
