If I had the money I’d put a lamborghini V12 in it. Sorta like what’s in this car.

A few years ago there was one for sale that had a 911 twin turbo motor. If I recall correctly it even had water cooled heads. Kinda of a wanna be 956/62. I would daily that thing.

I think so as well. They are analogous to the e39 5 series. Still good today.

You must be young if you just found out about the Mark VIIIs. They and the Lincoln LS were Lincoln’s last glimmer of hope. A DOHC 4.6 liter V8 that could sing the song of its people. One of its commercials had it lowering at speed. This was Lincoln’s 8 Series.

Just learned about these cars for the first time last month- in a weird encounter.

Imagine paying almost 400 large for that thing, walking out to the garage the next morning...and having that color stab you in the eye.

Used to be, the sales force in these dealerships were hired for their Rolodex (contact lists)....like Tony Soprano’s girlfriend!

Harley Davidson dealers used to act like this..... Some still do.

I was about to ask you this question:

I always find it funny when dealership employees or any employee for that matter make fun of people who can’t afford a $200k car or other pricy stuff. Dude, you are a sales employee. You can’t afford that shit either, so don’t act all mighty.

Stupid rich people won’t buy this. Even slightly frugal ones will go the CPO route or similar.

A quick search shows me a similar car should be about $60k. It sounds tempting to get a new-ish BMW for $10k off, but whoever buys this (and somebody will, because there are too many stupid rich people) is going to get a rude awakening when they try to resell it at market value.

Please stop telling people about these. What is next? You start telling people they can get W210 E55 for dirt cheap? Come on man, I am trying to keep all the old cheap V8 AMG’s for myself.
