She said in the wake of the movement, the optics of having women stand around a race circuit to appease the male gaze is questionable at best. Literally not a soul alive thinks they’re being forced to do it. Cripes.

Engine has little character, steering quite numb
I watched with the sound off. Please tell me Eurobeat is playing.
Does it threaten to turn this car right around if you try to get up?
Autopilot still leaves you in control, no? As in, you can always override it at any time, by controlling the wheel and pedals, setting, etc.?
UNF!

An S3 might, but that’s not the base model of the platform. That would be the A3, which requires you to get the Convenience Package, which is roughly $1k. I didn’t mean to imply that they do this with every model, but neither does BMW. For example, you can spec CarPlay in a base M3 without adding anything else.
Depends on the platform, but for a base F3x, the navigation system can be had as a stand-alone option for roughly $1700. Then CarPlay is $300. But yeah, you can’t get CarPlay without nav. Very annoying.
I feel like if they didn’t at least go through the motion of throwing the car on there, they would get called out. Plus, the ‘Ring is still a decent proving ground even at non-record speeds, right?
Refreshing
Came to post the same story. TY.
Came to say the same. A little disappointing. Otherwise, very cool!
Yes thank you!
Yes, this was specifically in reference to the QF. Just a theory, although I’m sure it’s really just because there’s little demand.
Johnny and Jason over at Motor Trend actually think that was why this car didn’t come to the US with a third pedal. Previous Alfas here with a manual were actually ripping the test dummies’ feet off. They wondered if maybe rather than redesign the frame/subframe to fix this, they just went with the automatic.
I saw Atlantis launch back in the late 80’s as my dad’s sub was dry docked there for a while, so we got to go down to visit. Would have to go back and do some digging as to the exact day/month to figure out which mission, but even from a good distance (we were at civilian range), it was the most incredible thing my…
What’s funny is it also has a c. diff button
