Sod it, since driving a Leaf and a Tesla recently then hopping back in to ICE the ban on ICE couldn’t come soon enough, it’s so antiquated and unnecessary.

I believe they’re the old Ford Fiesta lights positioned upside down.

Isn’t the hood scoop/plumbing arrangement just like what LR brought out with the new Discovery...or was it RR a good while ago?

Was this on TG many years ago and was merely a showcase of what Prodrive could do?

I saw one yesterday on the road and liked it.

I’ve driven the Citroen Relay (Promaster in EU) with the 2 litre diesel and found it to drive fine. It cruised well at 80mph from northern England to Southern Germany loaded with 9 men (crew cab), luggage and loads of ski equipment and returned over 30mpg which was pretty good.

I’ve had two Neons in the UK, and they’re rare and a bit of an oddity but I actually liked them with their huge steering wheel and raked windscreen.

Well, the Ford EcoSport Active towing capacity in the UK is 900kg, so nearly 2000lbs. It can haul something.

Rubbish. Looks terrible. Gaudy, unattractive and go round a corner fast enough to find you’ll slide off those flat seats. Pointless.

I love the Honda, but it’s very expensive and the Zoe is realistically the better proposition, and as hesitant as I am to buy an all electric Renault (considering the huge number of electrical issues I have experienced with past Renault’s) it is where my money would go...on a lease.

God I was going to buy one of these in the UK from Ebay not that long ago, purely just for the curio aspect (I’ve had 2 Neons) but at £1.10 a litre of jungle juice, and even though I don’t use a car that much anymore, I think I’d just get fed up of going to the filling station every other use.

I love that it has a load of weird jaunty badges affixed to the rear tub. Almost as an after thought.

1st UK Armoured Division uses them.

I feel your pain.

Hmmm, in the UK they are pretty common and that’s because of tax loopholes - basically it is cheaper to have one as a company car than an actual car as the taxation isn’t based on emissions.

That’s what Lexus is for. However, even if there are reliability issues for the aforementioned brands (although you only have to look at TFL who are running old LR and VW to see they’re standing up to punishment) people are still buying/leasing left right and center.

I’m pretty sure the Defenders get real air. There was a programme aired ages ago showing the Defender and in between stunts for this film. However, I could be wrong.

I read that VW was essentially kick-started after the war by some British Army Officers.

Ha! I just thought it was an attempt at offering some sort of soft mood lighting. Glad I clicked on this article now.
