My idea:

BMW dropped the G450 because they’ve concentrated their dirt bike lineup to Husqvarna. TE449 took its position and shared much of the components with it, starting with the engine. The only difference is that it was a pure enduro, when compared to the slightly dual sport-biased BMW.
