None of those cars are being sold in EU or Australia, or at least not in numbers. Regal/Insignia/Commodore platform offers much more potential, and Regal would not compete against them.
It’s all in the marketing and the design. If done properly, you could do wonders with a 2-door Regal, especially so given that it is a global platform, sold in the US, EU and Australia.
I don’t know, Rory seems to be pretty genuine, and Sabine as well. They’ve always been like that, although, perhaps they did push each other into another level of excitement.

PS: I did find Matt LeBlanc a bit awkward in the studio in some of the earlier episodes, but he is completely natural in the features.
I disagree about it being staged. In fact, I thin the exact opposite is true.
And the best of all, it feels much more real; something that’s been on a decline in the Top Gear since the beginning of this decade. It feels more genuine, and offers a tremendous potential for further improvement.
That was a great episode, every single bit of it. Ford GT at Big Sur and Laguna Seca, Chris Hoy doing a kickass lap, Chris and Sabine at the King of the Hammers, that weird Nissan thingy....
The only thing missing was more Rory Reid.
