Speaking of Moore, I’ve seen the Moonraker in my early teens, and even then I thought it was BS. That being said, it was when Brosnan was Bond, so...
However, I think that For Your Eyes only is one of the best ever Bond films; a simply, Cold war story and epic action.

Vin Dieseling intensifies.

Bloody ell! I did watch The Rock at least 4-5 times when I was a kid, and maybe 2-3 times more, later on, but I don’t think I’ve seen any movie or a TV show a dozen times (entirely).

Maybe the No.4 Bond movie shown that year. If it was the 3rd lowest grossing of all time, no way it could’ve been the 4th highest at any point in time-

Are you sure about the Living Daylights? Google tells me Spectre is the No.4, with or without the inflation, and that the Living Daylights is among the 3 lowest grossing Bond movies.

“less frequently than the other two” - well, how many times have you seen them?
:)

Licence to Kill is an incredibly movie. I don’t know why people didn’t like it when it came out. Maybe it was too brutal and realistic for the 80s.

Profit does not equate impact. At the World’s End was much less talked about than the former two. And it made only half the profit of the Hot Fuzz for nearly the double budget.

I’ve seen people build better and more flyable model planes than that thing

I’ve been told by it was good, but I haven’t seen it yet. And it doesn’t seem as if it made the same impact as the other two.

tragically underappreciated

The point about them not wanting to race a lover-tier model is a valid one. The rest is not. Homologation process is not that simple, and cars have been excluded in the past for not conforming to the rules (even the LMP cars have to homologate certain parts, mostly via the crash tests). Whatever they might have used

Wow, I didn’t know about the others! I remember watching the one about the human body as a kid.

You almost sound like a PR agent. Are you a PR agent?

You can show me whatever you want, but the fact is that the car I posted is a 911 RSR, based on a 911. If it was using a Cayman chassis, it would’ve been homologated as such.
GTE cars are built on a stock chassis that has to be exactly the same as all other road cars they are based on. The only difference is that the

That was superb description!

Channelling his inner Kimi, Kris went off the road to find an ice cream van.

That’s not an opinion, that’s a fact.

I guess we could say he really beached his car in that turn.
