I ran into this exact issue with my custom game in Super Mario Maker 2. After spending about 800 hours creating 100 sequential courses in the classic Mario style, which was fun to do regardless, I did have to accept that it would be owned by Nintendo. I’m not sure if the big N is as clear-cut as Blizzard is here, but…
