The most sultry of produce

Go watch some news reels from the 40s. It's about the history of use of the word.

I would enjoy it if white Australians identified as Asian, since, you know, they were "Asia's" representative at the Confed Cup.

Growing up in the 90s, I can safely say those words were still kings of the playground.

…we're talking about Philly, right?

Let's not even mention the possibility of having to *gasp* transfer to the Broadstreet Line!

That's too bad. It would have made him seem more…human.

It feels like it's along the same lines as "reverse racism" and how affirmative action for minorities and women is effectively discrimination against male-kind. A narrative of victimization that allows you to justify your outrage rather than question the origin of it.

The troubling thing to me is that the actual message and content of the play are willfully ignored because it's all about the optics now, and even if they "protesters" know what it's about, they recognize that it serves as a convenient means to an end.

I consider it an act of violence when someone punishes me with unwanted conversation.

I like the saying, "First impressions are first impressions."

That's one of the more unique management styles I've heard of. Appreciated.

Also, kind of a metaphor for a placid electorate eh?

The man just knows! If we can't trust that, who can we turn to?

I love this

Typical Mafia, voting off those that suspect them.

Yes, this. I think this is something that should be widely educated about.

In all earnestness, I did learn a lot from that game. It taught me that just laying out an argument is not persuasive in itself, and that people use all sorts of informal and subconscious queues to suss out who is or is not trustworthy, regardless of actual track record.

I always found that the quiet ones are suspected immediately, and are either voted off or forgotten about until it's too late. In sum, as good a strat as any other

Do any of you remember that game, Mafia, where you try to find out who in the group is a Mafioso and killing everyone else off?
