She is African-American, yes? And this makes her an expert on "Latina culture" how...? Because her neighbor was Mexican?

I think the whole concept of "latino" is such an American thing it's hard to even understand from a European perspective. I don't think I know anyone who would call themselves that and I live in one of the most Spaniard and Brazilian filled cities in Italy!

Uh, 2 things:

First, it's pretty much impossible to tell if someone is Latino by looking at them. Leo Messi is Latino, so is Juan Williams.

As a Mexican and duly appointed representative of our culture, I would like to say that we collectively do not give a damn about how this woman dresses. The fact that the author has a latino friend seems to give her the impression that she has the authority to be outraged for us. We do not give a damn about this

As a Latina woman, who has been at it that my whole life, I do not feel offended because cholo culture is not one that I feel represents my people. If she were wearing huipiles, and caites maybe, MAYBE I would feel upset. Chol@s is more East LA, gangster culture. Also my tattoo artist is white, his mother is white

The Taylor Swift of shoes.

Lady Gaga again she is spouting a lot of nonsense. Doesn't EVERY country have homophobic problems? Yes, some more than others. If we boycotted every world event due to hate crimes, there would be none. Bringing the world to a super-duper homophobic place will create progress: that country will see that gay athletes

I wish gaga would start by shutting up and stopping collaborations with pedophiles and creepy sex predators and selling that to teens. That would make the world such a better place.

The problem, is that there is this history of misogynist bravado in racing of all kinds, which transforms what might otherwise just be gentle ribbing, into a questionable attack based on gender. It's kind of tough to tell which it is, sometimes. She probably has that look on her face, because she's trying to figure

"So it'd come down to whether Cristiano Ronaldo could score as many goals against an overmatched U.S. back line as the U.S. could put up against a Portugal side where almost everyone is overmatched except for Cristiano Ronaldo."\

On my Spotify playlist yesterday: Linda Ronstadt and Joni Mitchell. Neither one had to wear pasties or g-strings on stage to have successful careers. Yes, I am an old.

"This is showing what it looks like when women sellsex... so much of it feels staged for men, not for our own pleasure."

I do think slut-shaming is an overused term now.

Thank you for saying this! One not-terrible performance does not a great singer make. Ugh

I'm with Miley. I don't want a man to wear jean on jean on jean in public for me but, like the way God got Abraham to nearly kill his son Isaac to prove his devotion, I want him to put it on and walk towards the door. I'll stop him just before he walks out, of course. I don't want that being seen in public.

Why the fuck hasn't Erin replied to this to thank you? Your two posts were much more informative.

Everything is happening? ¡Qué escándalo!

Just because this child is the Illuminati Chosen One who shall rule the Earth, you think we are crazy for worshipping her? Joke is on you. She will not look kindly upon the heathens once her reign begins!

God, please stop worshiping celebrity children.
