Sigh, this really is sad. You waste all this time trying to get people to care about your experience, yet you don't actually talk about it or provide a link. You're so desperate to get people to understand you, but you have nothing but a "I had a crappy experience" to show for it. You wonder why people question you?

So, you don't have an example of your experience, is what you're saying?

Jeez, no one is saying this. My reaction is based on how obviously upset you are getting by people questioning your generalizations of a beloved, female run, sci-fi blog. Rather than really talking about what happened to you (god forbid you provide a link!), you generalized, got angry and linked to Derailing for

Yeah, my roommate works there and I've been steadily hearing about the decline of G4 for over a year now. Everyone (of note) seem to be on their way out.

Perhaps your sudden defensiveness contributed to your bad experience. Again, as many other people have said, io9 really frowns on that sort of stuff and is known for being a safe space for women. There are trolls everywhere, however, and they get clamped down on fast over there.

Been on io9 a looooooong time and this couldn't be further from the truth. There are a lot of female writers and commenters over there.

Okay. Disneyland/world is gayer than Christmas. Seriously. I know a lot of the entertainers at Disneyland and they're almost ALL gay. I mean, most of Disney's best villains are gay. Ursula, Scar, Jafar...

"I can make Rolling Rock or Heineken."

A few of my buddies are in Starkid, so I saw a bunch of the rehearsal videos. We're having a big viewing party tonight!

HAH, no.

I am ashamed that I guffawed at that scene.

Hmmm that bit about Stacey Dash sounds about right considering her fallout with Single Ladies last year.

Failure? Wow. They're negotiating and talking about these issues before they get married. That's what you're supposed to do, get this worked out before you make a commitment. Also, marriage means different things for different people. In a "monogamish" marriage people are emotionally committed to other, and have an

Oh, I liked every bit of this. Highly entertaining and highly self-aware.Oh, I liked every bit of this. Highly entertaining and highly self-aware.

Hah hah , yeah. I read DirtBag like any other gossip loving Jezzie, but when Darren is brought up I'm like, "yeah, uh...no." The X factor thing was probably mentioned in passing and Darren was like "oh that'd be cool, but I'm soooper busy right now." And truthfully, he is.

Excuse you Super Meh-ri-oh Bros. is a modern 90's classic.

Yeah, that Darren Criss thing isn't true.

I feel your pain. My bestie was the subject of a recent Blind Item that has been accepted as fact 'round these internet parts. It was ridiculously untrue, but all the pieces appeared to add up. Every time people realize that I'm friends with so-in-so the next question is always related to that crap. Quite annoying.

It's funny, I'm in my mid-20's and all the guys around me have read it. I haven't touched it.

Yeah, he really was great in that.
