This is a good point. Kids have always bullied each other for not being up on the latest trends, it’s just the trends have changed.

I think most people have greatly underestimated how far local game streaming has come in the last few years.
Listening to Uematsu and the current baton holder, Masayoshi Soken talk shop for 30 minutes was a treat. I could listen to them talk for hours. (with the aid of a translator)
Well I say we throw the man a party and wish him well. He’s logged more minutes of absolute bangers in the games industry than just about anybody else. Cheers, Uematsu-san. Your songs are still gonna be stuck in my head long after I’ve forgotten my own name.
Totally fair, the man is a legend and has more than earned whatever turns he wants to take with his career.
I can confirm that is true especially when I would cover the toy department at Target and I’d get the toy collector freaks asking me to check the back for “chase” figures. It was treated as a free break.
You either die a hero...
I’ve always loved the irony. From one planet sucking resource to another!
And the dialogue is miles worse than FF7 Remake. Advent Children is aging not quite so gracefully these days.
What up, it’s Barret, I AM the man. Oil, Cloud! I just found the biggest damn oil field you’ve ever seen.
They don’t in the movie. It’s not even really a battle per say, but in the prequel (to the movie) novel “On the Way to a Smile” Aerith is aware and actively tries to stop Sephiroth from doing malice while in the Lifestream. It does heavy hint at that things like what happened in Remake will happen too.
It’s not in the movie, no. It’s in some companion side stories that explain what some characters were doing in between FF7 and AC.
while Barret is off doing something that the movie doesn’t explain
Well at least it's miles better than that other Final Fantasy movie.
Aerith and Sephiroth battle in the Lifestream? I don’t remember this happening but it has been awhile since I’ve seen this movie.
FF7 is the cautionary tale that keeps on telling...
If you complete part 1 you don’t need to do the Nibelheim portion in the full game. If you complete part 2 no progress carries over, but you will get the items below in the full game as long as you complete it and don’t delete your save file:
Having fled a polluted city of unchecked corporate, militaristic oppression, I’m hit with the light of a bright blue, endless sky. Rich green grass extends endlessly before me; mountains tower in the distance. The world around me is a wellspring of life. Yet it’s haunted by a creeping shadow of harm. I see it in…
Any idea if anything we do in the demo that carries over influences things like the Saucer Date?
