Ever since NGE in Star Wars Galaxies.  Amirite?

I was just thinking after the update about how much I like it. It's modernized, responsive, looks nice and crisp, and it's easier to access almost everything from the overlay compared to how it used to be.

Sony even added Discord to their platform now.  PC gaming has just been hard to support lately since COVID.  This summer has some great console exclusives coming around to save the day.

It’s a combination of a lot of things, truthfully. The biggest one is developer difficulty of porting to the PC platform, that can’t be denied, add in less resources for QA too.

You’re right about the Steam community factor. That and Valve’s tireless updates and focus on UI/UX, and much improved customer service.

I mean, is this like convicting Al Capone of tax fraud instead of all the murder? Like, it’s the thing that held the most water compared to other reasons to block the deal because there isn’t much precedent set in the cloud gaming space? Legitimately asking because I don’t pretend to know this stuff, just speculating

I haven’t seen anything of the sort on the Xbox Series X running in quality mode.

at least in this particular case I’ve had 0 issues after a few hours on the Xbox Series X.

Guess it’s no picnic on Ps5/Series consoles either.

I’m surprised people still pre-order obviously console-intended games on PCs. I’m sure SW:JS will work well on PC eventually, but it’s clearly designed with top of the line consoles in mind, and desktops were an afterthought.

It’s been surprisingly okay for me on high settings - but that doesn’t mean others aren’t having unacceptable problems. The PS5 edition is apparently struggling a lot too in some areas.

For fuck’s sake. I’ve lost track how many high profile PC games are complete trash on release.

valve needs to get rid of steam reviews for the sake of its developer partners. it’s insane that they put screaming dweebs at their point of sale. sometimes reviews are valid but this feature is largely abused by mobs in bad faith.

Wait 12 months and get it fully patched for less than half the price.

I didn’t preorder and I was really eager to play it but after reading all of the poor care that the optimization got I’m going to wait and buy it for cheap later, Tears of the Kingdom is coming out soon so is not like there isn’t anything else to play.

Theres loads of games that are large. It’s not a “Respawn thing” at all.

That’s not really true, dude.

I’m about to play a direct Zelda sequel and have to accept that all my weapons and upgraded armors fell into a bottomless pit. I too wish for a little trust from gamemakers. I want them to know that we are competent and don’t need handholding.

It is just me, or does anyone else notice no one is ever really happy with being a Jedi?

He’s also more capable from the get-go, instead of forcing you to slog through the usual trope of having to re-learn everything
