It looks just like how a SLT/Big Horn is equipped now.

Kind of:
Bulldozers are cool. I'm fortunate to work around earthmoving equipment every day. My favorite are scrapers (sometimes called a pan) because we can't use them in my area. Big excavators are probably the most amazing though. If anyone is really nerdy and interested, a good reference is the CAT performance manual: ht…
Nah, Ross will be back in red before next season.
Go Jackets!
I have gladly donated to Project Brabham, but no way am I throwing money in this bottomless pit so I can support a pay driver.
You need to know how the N24 works. Yellow flags are given ahead of the slow zone where the course vehicle was stopped. The Viper tried to make time by not slowing until the edge of the slow zone and slid right through. One of the dumbest moves I have ever seen at the N24.
Do you really consider Commerce (home of the Southern Nationals) rural or am I missing the joke?
Yep. Every single congressional hearing is a publicity stunt for themselves.
Maybe they did some research and found that the vast majority of this is media hyped bullshit.
I saw it this morning on I-285. If you don't know what your looking at, you would think it is one of their Tahoes. My guess is there thinking is, "we have another vehicle to add to the fleet for free."
9 of the 13 deaths are directly attributable to driving under the influence. Among recent safety recalls, this one is very minor. The Jalopnik writers found something that increased page views and ran with it.
Amber Marie Rose was legally drunk, not wearing a seatbelt, and doing 70 mph in a 25mph zone when the accident occurred.
When you rear-end someone, that usually comes with a ticket.
If a ticket and possible insurance claims are not deterrents, what is this light going to do? Secondly, get out of my way.
I'm not afraid of snakes, but I will back over a cottonmouth or copperhead just to make sure the job is done.
If I could like this a thousand times, I would. Properly reporting of a story or even playing devil's advocate does not lead to page hits or get you on TV. Playing into the mass media spin does. Look around, people eat this stuff up.
I see no smoking gun here other than someone pandering for page hits.
Good. Maybe Jalopnik will report on something else now.
Yes, it was so bad that it was actually MT COTY in '97 and sold in decent numbers. It was just a normal family sedan... nothing particularly good or bad about it.
