Sounds like normal hours for most of the restaurants I’ve worked in. 40 hours is a slow week.
A car for the La Croix generation?
Every job/industry I’ve ever worked in has some sort of crunch/forced overtime situation. The idea of changing industries/jobs to avoid it is unrealistic, especially if you need to maintain a similar income to your current one to support your family.
Glad I’m not the only one that vinwiki video didn’t sit well with. Even more glad the truth about this is coming out. Just because you think you’re important and have rich and influential friends doesn’t give you the right to put people’s lives at risk.
It’s cool, but who are they going to be less than a second behind in the activation zone?
With the top up it’s not terrible, not as good as the coupe, but not terrible. The flex is very noticeable with the top down though (I’m definitely planning some serious bracing when I finally get back to rebuilding it). The targa/vertible top situation does a surprisingly good job of stiffening things when it’s up.
Yeah, Rockstar is definitely missing the point with Red Dead 2. The game succeeded because it was a fantastic single player experience, unfortunately microtransactions don’t fit well in the single player model so they have no incentive to provide dlc’s that expand upon that experience.
Nope, the convertibles had the 5 speed as well, if mine wasn’t in storage an hour away I’d snag a picture. And of course the Convertible was never offered in turbo in the US.
I really wanted to get this game on pc, but I just don’t trust the Epic Game Store yet. I have no love for valve and steam, but they’ve proved that they can securely conduct transactions and that their storefront has staying power, Epic’s store is still has a lot to prove before I’ll trust them. At least I’ll have a…
Yeah, last time I went to a Jiffy Lube I had to replace for them on my miata because the tech “just couldn’t reach it”. Not sure what was so difficult for him, he had smaller hands then me and his arms were of average length. They still charged me full price, which I took as a reminder that I can change my oil much…
If that’s the goal, then why do the cars move at all? Even with a stationary car someone will inevitably have a heart attack or something in one and die. Just seems like if they want to make cars that go places, then this goal is unattainable.
It’s a re-skin of far cry 5, it’s not a full new map. I’m sure they’ve added new areas, but at heart it’s the same map. As for DLC not being 25+ hours, I spent far longer than that with The Witcher 3's blood and wine dlc as well as other large story dlc’s in the past. I’m not saying this should have been included in…
That’s fair, still seems a bit steep to me for what’s being offered, but on sale for $25-30 in a few months is probably reasonable.
Cool I guess, would rather have seen this stuff just added to Far Cry 5 though. Still not seeing anything to justify the price on this as a full game. It still just looks like DLC to me.
Given my experience with these engines in the past, the carb “just needing to be dialed in” is a huge red flag for me. Every amc 360 I’ve ever seen has been in the process of self destructing. I certainly wouldn’t pick this up expecting anything more than a roller in need of a full repaint after the vinyl wrap comes…
Opening weekend for Furious 7 there was a stanced Honda Civic that got beached on a sidewalk island across from my valet stand at the mall. I was parking a car when it happened, I still have no idea how they got a car with maybe two inches of ground clearance over the 6 inch curb it was stuck on, but it was fully high…
I’d say 5%-9% is pretty accurate for downtown restaurants around here, valets at the mall would see as high as 25%-30% on weekends, more if there was a car show or new fast and furious movie out. The stance crowd is pretty big in warmer southern states with fewer potholes. Of course there were a couple lots I worked…
That’s always been my experience, and I saw lots of Cops explain this to people after accidents. If you’re not sure the other car is going to stop then you wait, saving a half second to go the moment the light turns green isn’t worth getting T-Boned by someone looking at their phone and not the road. You are…
