As someone who consumes cereal mostly by the handful I appreciate the dry snacking heads up on those cheerios!

The US (and democratic countries in general) are kind of boring because you can’t properly join the war for a long time and just kind of sit and wait.
I cannot help you with the fact that starbucks is overpriced, but my man, use the mobile app and order ahead.
The starbucks one is solid because they give you free shit to use it, but nothing gives you the smug air of superiority quite like walking into a crowded starbucks, walking straight passed the mile long long,…
It’s a regional thing. They do bagels on the east coast, when I moved to California and discovered I could no longer get my prized steak egg and cheese on a bagel I was sorely disappointed :(
I always heard about it back in my UO days but never got to see it myself
Is there where we talk about our shitty US healthcare experiences?
I’m glad that I work for a district that fully supported the walkout. Students rallied together and worked with administrators to organize an effective demonstration and emails were sent out from the superintendent to the parents that the district was supporting the students cause. We even had special class sessions…
I got laid off along with a dozen + other staff members from a public school district because the town was in a 2 mil deficit. The same year the Mayor managed to find the money to give himself a nice 5 figure pay raise. Funny how those things work. out.
I learned this lesson the hard way in my early 20s when my Live account got hacked and had ~$300 worth of charges put on my card. Got the money back from the bank but Microsoft offered zero solutions.
Living in LA makes me wish there was navigation apps that take human driving factors into account when planning routes.
A left turn with a stop sign instead of a light onto a main road that just happens to have on/off ramps for the 10 during rush hour is NOT happening.
I don’t know if this is a universal truth but the catholic school I taught at treated everybody like shit. Garbage pay, forced extra activities (no extra pay), extra hours, having people teach way outside their subject matter (english teacher doing science? yeah cool) and they wait until June to fire people for the…
Truth. We had the opposite happen, school got taken over by a Chinese company and the “faith” part started to be downplayed.
Totally, I’m pretty sure faith based schools know they need to not stress that angle or they will miss out on qualified teachers.
I worked at a catholic schoolexactly for the reasons you said... I was moving from MA to CA and wasn’t licensed to teach in CA (had been doing it for 7 years on the east coast) and the job…
Having worked in public and private schools, I think it’s generally easier to get hired at private school. The one I worked at was mostly people right out of college getting some experience. Some people also enjoy the smaller class sizes (~12 vs 40 now for me) and just get comfortable.
I worked at a christian school…
Do “taco” and “burrito” count?
Morffi worked for Sts. Peter and Paul for almost seven years. She also coached basketball and ran a volunteer organization, called #teachHope70x7, that takes students around the downtown Miami area on weekends to distribute meals to the homeless, said Morffi’s friend Katerina Reyes-Gutierrez.
Hopefully this gives them a huge bump in viewers because everything NoClip does is phenomenal. Amazing insight into what’s going on behind the scenes in the industry.
Was wondering about this. Anxiety always hits me at night but I live in an un-air conditioned apartment in socal. Using this would be disgusting.

My theory is that because of all the tinted windows and the fact that gangs actually exist, you never know who you’re flipping off and if they’re packing, so everyone is chill.
Also it’s shocking to me that when I go home I instantly and effortlessly switch to “masshole driving mode” and start screaming at everyone as…
I’m from the North Shore of Massachusetts and currently live in LA and despite the horrific traffic, LA is a dream to drive in compared to the Boston area. For the most part everyone seems more relaxed and people will actually let you do things like change lanes. Back home it’s a nonstop barrage of aggressive drivers,…
