Let's Discuss This Rationally, Shall We?

I owned a Caliber R/T. Worst car I've ever owned. The CVT imploded at 76k. My ex insisted we buy it, then stuck me with it after the divorce. Ugh.

I’m depressed with the reminder that the Caliber exists, and that some hard working people at SRT had the unenviable task of polishing this turd. They did their best with what they had, no question.

What am I missing?”

The claw dropped my car a few times and scratched it up bad before I got it out.

I tried for a moment to figure out which meaning of “high” you’d intended, and then realized of course it’s both.

I never did get my giant coin to work so I took a uber home

In the spirit of Carvana’s insulting offer for my car, I will offer to buy the company for $10,000. The offer comes with a free bonus of spamming their inbox constantly asking if they want to sell for basically nothing.

Being from CA, the first thing I noticed is HOLY SHIT, IT’S STILL GOT THE ORIGINAL PLATES

Jesus people. It’s $4,000. Look at what you can buy for four grand and come back to this and think about it. You want a clapped out rusty Rogue with 186k, cuz that’s what you’re looking at.

The seats look terrible, but I figure you could get them re-upholstered at an aftermarket place. I’d also get the engine bay steam cleaned to restore it to at least looking like its original glory:

I guess I’m a little shocked that these don’t have more of a following. Growing up in the 90's, these, along with the Cyclone and Typhoon were always on the cover of car magazines. Domestic vs Import! Yet where those trucks can fetch 6 figures on BaT, nobody really wants these (and yes, let’s compare the

I feel like people voting ND are thinking in year 2000 dollars or something. The starting point for a rust free car with no mechanical issues today is $3k. Min. for a boring nothing car. Add the rarity and coolness of the SHO and 90's nostalgia trends, this car is an EASY $4k all day.

I was all in until I saw the seats, but figured I could throw a cover over them. With the miles, I’m kind of a coin-flip. It’s probably a reasonable price in April 2022. If something was going to blow up, it probably would have already. And all the recent maintenance gives one confidence.

I decided that for someone who wants a SHO, this must be a good price. My brain says $3k is the right price, but my brain isn’t coping with current car prices well.

This franchise is still going? It’s like the Gray’s Anatomy of movies...

“They’re all dead, Jim”

<wipes joyful tears from eyes>

in the second paragraph are you saying you can’t feel your continuously long asshole?

I’ve got some more bad news for you - Torch is gone, too.

How long would you be willing to stay on a sinking ship work for Herb Spanfeller?
