Event Horizon is one of my favourite horro movies. The movie gives you just enough of a taste of what befell the crew to get your morbid curiosity going. Then, and this is vital to why Event Horizon holds up today, it REFUSES to show us more than the broad strokes. Nothing kills horror faster than over-explanation.

I was under the impression that, after the apprentices washed and prepared the dead bodies in the faceless men temple (house of black and white? too lazy to google it), de-facing the the bodies was performed by more experienced acolytes.

This made my day. I think my old account (and my, like, 4 posts including getting The Riddler’s easiest riddle in the Batman TAS review comments) may be toast, but knowing that the bell is here filled me with renewed hope.
