Two things can be true.
Two things can be true.
When it comes to welding structural components under a vehicle strength is much more important than looks. As long as they pass the hammer test it is all good because like you said a grinder and paint can make it look better. The fact that you added the stiffener should also help even if the welds aren’t perfect.
School Busses should be 100% electric.
Its very sad. But it feels terribly selfish for me to suggest he had simply “a sad life” or whatever. I hope he had happiness in there too. I’m sure he did. I hope in his short life he knew enough happiness to have hope. I’m sure he did.
Damn - just remembered the Holden Hurricane:
Also, the mfing AMX/3... Losing AMC was a blow to creativity and risk taking in US car making for decades...
I have a chip on my heart quite similar to yours, but with Vintech’s Porsche homage :)
The Mercedes-Benz Concept Maybach 6. It is simply stunning. Gotta love that throwback split hood design!
Volvo Concept Estate Shooting Brake
I would have liked to see the Subaru Crossport
Pontiac Banshee. End of the story.
Cadillac Elmiraj
If we can extend the definition of “concept” car to “racing prototype” then here’s mine:
Nissan IDX, not sure if I would buy one but It would have added a bit of new obtainable performance to a pretty meh Nissan lineup.
I would have one if it was produced. Even if they had done a 4 door to make it more relevant for the current market I’d still be all over it.
El Miraj is my favorite of the recent Cadillac concepts. Hopefully Celestiq knocks it out of the park.
Oh, you said best. Well next we should do the worst to thankfully not make production:
I don’t know about “best”, but “concept I was most likely to buy if it made it to production” goes to the Buick Avista.
The Jag CX-75. I was really hoping this would make it to production.
