A lot of people who work closely with JK don’t seem to believe she’s a hateful transphobe. Is it possible you may be missing something?

People in this thread are vastly overstating the damage J.K. Rowling has done to the trans community with her comments, that’s the only way they can respond to your point with such silliness.

He’s a working character actor, not a brand-name “star”. It’s low-reward, but also probably low-risk.

To be fair, the last song of his I heard was Prisoners or something. I do feel the whole persona is pretty tired at this point tho, in addition to the concept of 80's synthpop in 2020 (the 80's revival that happened last decade apparently never died?)
