Yeah, I’d be fucking mad too if my mom FaceTimed me, a 9-year-old child, from a dinner with her boyfriend’s kids, which I wasn’t invited to, and told that those kids are about to be my stepsiblings. What the actual fuck, who announces an engagement over FaceTime to their minor children who live with them?!

And, considering he’s a renowned ‘actor’ as well, couldn’t we all say the exact same thing about him? Not quite the sick burn he thinks it is.

“Religious freedom” has always only meant “religious freedom for white Evangelical Christians.” I recall a few years ago Louisiana was going to start a voucher program that could be used for private religious schools, but it ran into opposition when Republicans realized that those vouchers could also be used by

Satanists have been making the same argument, abortion is a religious right. I believe there’s currently a court case in Texas over it?

I wonder how many personality disorders Johnny Depp has?

And yet he still has millions of fans who will write awful things because AmBeR is a NuTcAsE. For too many women, liberal and conservative, they will justify abusing another woman if they like a guy enough (even if they will never meet him).

That picture reminds me of Helen Mirren, which is not a bad thing at all.

Annie Murphy based a lot of Alexis’s weird, affected mannerisms on Schitt’s Creek on watching youtube clips from the Kardashians’ show. She couldn’t stand to watch full episodes. That really made me relate to her & admire her performance even more.

Besides being trashy as fuck and shocking an international audience, sure, nothing happened. Normalize people beating each other up in public over any perceived slight, because we’re malfunctioning goo robots or whatever.

I’m guessing it means he can’t vote for the Oscars anymore. I don’t think it means he can’t ever attend the ceremony, as plenty of non-members attend.

At least his PR team is earning their wages.

It also feels like shock. How could you make such a huge decision in that moment? Its not just a slap - its a slap millions of people watched and you’re in a room surrounded by Hollywood. That must have been immense pressure to just try and stop the madness. If it took place in a bar, Chris Rock may have made a

I don’t really think it should have been up to Chris.  He shouldn’t have had to make the decision.  That’s not fair to him.

Rock’s reaction makes sense. It’s a little bit, the dude’s been a professional for a long time but also a little bit toxic masculinity.

Other people are blowing it out of proportion? If you or I had been a guest at the show and had run on stage to slap Chris Rock as an average citizen, we would have been tackled by 5 guards and charged with assault and would be sitting in a jail cell right now.

Please please please put him on the “No Fly” list so he’ll have to take the bus from Texas to DC like a common armadillo...

I, a good atheist, am honestly starting to hope that these people really meet Jesus as they believe they will in the afterlife. They’re in for an everlasting lecture on what it means to be a true Christian, as well as (dare I hope) a heavenly ass-kicking.

I feel for her but I don’t think the situation would be much different if Russia hadn’t invaded Ukraine. Anyone traveling by air should know better than to bring illegal substances. Even if you’re traveling in the US domestically from one state where it’s legal to another state where it’s legal, technically because
