If you think John Mulaney is good looking you need Lasik.

It’s such a weird movie to latch onto as a “millennial movie”. On top of Garden State, Fight Club and The Matrix both hit two years earlier, and Fellowship of the Ring released the same year as Vanilla Sky. You’ve also got Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind alongside Garden State. Who the hell spends any time

I can’t believe that potatohead won either.

I’m sorry, but does anyone remember the year Adam Levine won? Nick Nolte? This award is often so disastrous I’m amazed they finally gave it to someone who was actually sexy. Paul Rudd is hot AF.

Also,

Charming, wholesome men are sexy. John Legend, Paul Rudd, Russell Wilson types who project security, safety. Ever wake up to a man smiling at you with kind eyes? Instant horniness. That shit is sexy.

Listen, I’ve worked with Couric on a video shoot and she is incredibly genuine and kind. I was basically just a gofer at the site where she was filming (i.e. not part of her crew), but between takes she made a point to chat with me. It was a literal dream come true - she was a role model to me when I was in journalism

Please stop trying to make these two seem interesting.

I actually hope Olivia and John made it work, and then add a third named Newton.

Hitting women was never a “norm.” Men got away with it at different points in history, but it was never a norm. I’m sure if you asked domestic abuse victims back then, which no one did, they’d tell you they'd rather physical violence not be so widely accepted.

We weren’t yet collectively separating art from artist; at most we were deciding not to see any new Woody Allen movies, but not feeling bad about watching Annie Hall.

Why is this suddenly a story today in every gossip rag? What weird PR agent move is this, and whose PR agent is pushing the story?

>“Stephanie didn’t have what it takes and that was obvious from the beginning,” Trump said in a statement.

Trump can not stop self-owning himself as the world’s most incompetent boss.   So many of his hires turned out to be garbage in his opinion.

She’s had an epiphany. Good for her. Now she can fuck off.

An action can be both understandably human and a perfectly legitimate reason for criticizing the person taking that action. Falling all over herself to praise and provide comfort and excuses, in a public forum no less, to defend an abuser, is a bad thing for Couric to decide to do and she deserves criticism for doing

You want to “both sides” a man with a rape button? Weird position to take but follow your rapist supporting heart, I guess.

Exactly. It is mind blowing that this was installed in his office and no one said anything. No one objected to it. No one spoke out about it. Not even a gross “this is going to get out and be bad press” response.

Polled individually a host of issues from health care, to gun control, to taxes, to LGBT rights, etc. routinely have strong support from the public. But, as you’ve noted, that still hasn’t stopped the GQP from winning elections as people routinely vote against their interests and their own stated beliefs because

I guess it is nice that only a large minority of voters would like to see Roe overturned, that doesn’t matter unless some are willing to change how they vote over the issue. If you tell a pollster you don’t want Roe overturned, but then keep voting Republican, you are actually in favor of it being overturned the one
